It is common knowledge that the “white” light of the sun is composed of single spectrum colours from red to violet!

The eyes are one of our most important sense organs. More than 80% of all sense perceptions reach our brain and our body via our eyes. We receive light daily. Sunlight offer us a balance colour range through the spectrum which we receive in even colour which pass through our eyes into our organism. However if we are constantly exposed to artificial light with imbalanced colour spectrums, this can negatively affect our health and well-being.

In the winter months, when we see very little or no natural sunlight, because of the shorter days (earlier sunsets). we experience how much our body and brain are dependant on the available light or colour supply. Our energy levels tend to drop during this time and in some cases depression can set in.

A home and workplace offering balance colour and light plays an important part in our health condition. A shortage of light and colour leads to a disturbed equilibrium and weakens our immune system. Therefore we get sick more often.

As a rule, a single colour should only be worn over the eyes for approximately 15 to 60 minutes at a time because of its speed of influencing the body. Initially it is more beneficial to use a specific colour for shorter periods of time. Initially 5 minutes can be quite sufficient for one colour and working with a maximum of 3 colours initially is recommended. When you feel comfortable with this healing modality, it is possible to wear the glasses longer, specifically when the colour feels pleasant. Red should only be worn for approximately 3 – 5 minute initially building up to 10 minutes, as it can be over stimulating to the whole system.
